Strategic Solutions for a New Decade

Building on the success of its past conferences, Lufthansa Systems will hold another conference for the airline industry in the Americas. The 2010 Conference, “Strategic Solutions for a New Decade” will be held from Wednesday, April 14 through Friday, April 16, 2010 at one of South Florida’s most spectacular venues, The Biltmore in Coral Gables, near Miami.

The event will provide the airlines an opportunity to learn about Lufthansa Systems’ comprehensive IT solutions portfolio designed to optimize core areas of operations. Among the solutions which will be covered through independent educational track sessions and solutions Marketplaces are the following:

• Integrated Operations Control Center (IOCC) Platform
• Integrated Revenue/Cost Accounting and Business Intelligence
• Airline Operations Solutions
• Revenue Management/Pricing Solutions
• Codeshare Management/Schedule Distribution Solution
• Integrated Cargo Solutions

In addition to attending the session(s) that best meet their functional needs, all attendees will have an opportunity to gain a better understanding of Lufthansa Systems’ overall solution strategy.

A critical aspect of this conference will be the direct input of the airlines through an open and interactive dialogue in which they can share their views and discuss their airlines’ needs as they relate to integrated IT solutions as facilitated by advanced solution strategies.

The Lufthansa Systems Americas Conference 2010 program agenda will kick off with an evening Welcome Reception on April 14 where airline representatives can catch up with old friends, network and form new relationships.

The actual conference will start on April 15, with a Welcome Address by Lufthansa Systems Americas’ President & CEO Klaus Bernhardt, followed by an address by Lufthansa Systems Executive Board Member Dr. Küchler. Next on the agenda will be presentations by airline executives on timely topics, followed by the track sessions. A lunch break and solutions Marketplace showcasing the various solutions will follow. The day will conclude with dinner and entertainment for all attendees.

On April 16, educational track sessions/focus groups will be offered relating to the specific solutions. Individual product demonstrations can be scheduled at the solutions Marketplace. This day will wrap up in the morning so that participants can unwind in their choice of recreation, either on the golf course or sailing.
